书面表达参考答案:

My hometown is a beautiful place, which lies at the foot of the Dabie Mountain. A stream runs by in front of our village. Trees grow thickly on the hills.

Several years ago people began to destroy the trees to make farmland. They destroyed the balance of nature here. The soil was washed away when it rained. Sometimes the water in the stream was too dirty to drink.

Then people in my hometown realized the importance of keeping the balance of nature. They began to change the farmland back into forests on the hills. So the hills are green with trees again and water becomes cleaner and cleaner.
