I shall never forget one showing which was really a challenge. I was busy getting ready to 1 my winter fashion. Then just thirteen 2 before the showing, the sewing girls were called out on 3 . I found myself left with one 4 and the woman who was in charge of the sewing room! I was as 5 as my models and salesgirls. ¡°We¡¯ll never 6 it.¡± one of them cried.
¡¡ Here, I thought, is the test of all tests for Father¡¯s 7 . Where is the way 8 this time? I wondered and worried. I was certain we would 9 to call off the showing---- 10 else show the clothes unfinished. Then it dawned on me. 11 show the clothes unfinished?
¡¡ We worked extremely hard. And 12 thirteen days later, right on time, the showing took place.
¡¡What a 13 it was! Some coats had no sleeves (Ðä×Ó); others had only one. Many of our clothes were 14 in an early stage, but in this way we were 15 to show what colors and textures the 16 would have when they were 17 .
¡¡ All in all, the showing was 18 . It was so different that it was a great success. Our 19 showing caught the attention of the public, and 20 for the clothes poured in. Father¡¯s wise words had guided me once again. There is more than one way to the square----always.

When I was twelve years old, my father took me to see Zig Zigler. When we got to the car, I turned to my father and said, ¡°Dad, I want to 38 people feel like that.¡± My father asked me 39¡¡ I meant. ¡°I want to be a motivational £¨¼¤ÀøÈ˵ģ© speaker just like Mr. Zigler,¡±¡¡I replied. A¡¡ 40 was born.
Recently, I began seeking my dream of motivating others. 41 a four-year relationship with Fortune 100 Company¡¡ 42 as a sales-trainer and ending as a regional sales manager, I left the company at the height of my 43 . Many people were 44 that I would leave after earning a six-figure income. And they asked 45 I would risk everything for a dream.
I made my 46 to start my own company and leave my secure£¨ÎÞÓÇÂǵģ© position after
47 a regional sales meeting. The vice-president of our company delivered a 48 that changed my life. He asked us, ¡°If a god would offer you three wishes, what would they be?¡± After giving us a 49¡¡ to write down the three wishes, he then asked us, ¡°Why do you need a¡¡ 50 ?¡± I would never forget the power I felt at that moment. I realized that 51 I had accomplished in the past had prepared me for this moment. I was ready and didn¡¯t need a god¡¯s help to become a motivational speaker. A motivational speaker was 52 .
Having made that decision, I was immediately 53 . One week after I gave notice, my husband was laid off from his job, and now we had no 54 . But I held fast to my dream. The wonder really began to happen. In a short time my husband found a better job. And I was able to book several 55 engagements with new customers. I discovered the incredible power of dreams.

In August 2000, I walked onto the campus of Illinois State University£¨ISU£©as a simple, quiet girl from a small rural town. There were more freshmen here than the population of my 21¡¡hometown. Standing by myself, I was all of a sudden 22¡¡by strangers from various backgrounds. I was 23¡¡with this place and, for the first time in my life, I felt ¡¡24¡¡.
¡¡¡¡¡¡ Over time, I realized that everyone around 25 the same. The strangers soon became friends, and the campus turned into one where I found ¡¡26¡¡. Before I knew it, ISU became my¡° 27 ¡±away from home.
¡¡¡¡¡¡ Throughout the four years, I learned a lot I had not learnt from my¡¡28 . I realized that you cannot ¡¡29¡¡late Thursday night and still pass your Friday exam; that pizza three times a day will gain the ¡¡30¡¡15 pounds. I also figured out who I was as a person and found the best 31¡¡family in the friends.
¡¡¡¡¡¡ The bittersweet day came when I had to 32¡¡the college chapter of my life. I thought I would ¡¡33¡¡, but I didn¡¯t . I knew I would have my college years, my friends and ¡¡34¡¡, with me forever. I even had a sense of¡¡35¡¡that my four years of difficult classes finally paid off.
¡¡¡¡¡¡ However, ¡¡36¡¡hit the day after graduation. For three months I was¡¡37¡¡,not to mention I had loans£¨´û¿î£©to repay and no¡¡38 .
¡¡¡¡¡¡ This January, I received an offer from a school three hours away from home. I will move on, with¡¡39¡¡ I had on that first day of college, to the place I again will call home. But I believe I will ¡¡40¡¡it!

My First Job
I was six when I joined my father and two elder brothers at sunrise in the fields of Eufaula Okla. ¡¡36¡¡ the time I was eight I had been helping Dad fix up old furniture. He gave me a cent for every nail I ¡¡37¡¡ out of old boards.
¡¡¡¡I got my first¡¡¡¡38¡¡ job at JM¡¯s Restaurant in town, when I was 12. My main responsibilities were ¡¡39¡¡ tables and washing dishes,¡¡¡¡40¡¡ sometimes I helped cook.
Every day after school I would ¡¡41¡¡ for JM¡¯s and work until ten. Even on Saturdays I ¡¡42¡¡ from two until eleven. At that age it was difficult going to work and
¡¡43¡¡ my friends run off to swim or play. I didn¡¯t necessarily like work, but I loved what working ¡¡44¡¡ me to have. Because of my ¡¡45¡¡ I was always the one buying when my friends and I went to the local Tastee Freez. This made me ¡¡46¡¡.
Word that I was trustworthy and hard-working ¡¡47¡¡ around town. A local clothing store offered me credit£¨ÉÞÕË£© ¡¡48¡¡¡¡I was only in seventh grade. I immediately ¡¡49¡¡ a $68 sports coat and a $22 pair of shoes. I was ¡¡50¡¡ only 65 cents an hour, and I already owed the storekeeper $90! So I learned ¡¡51¡¡ the danger of easy credit. I paid it ¡¡52¡¡ as soon as I could.
¡¡¡¡My first job taught me self-control, responsibility and brought me a¡¡¡¡53¡¡ of personal satisfaction few of my friends had experienced. As my father, ¡¡54¡¡ worked three jobs, once told me, ¡°If you ¡¡55¡¡ sacrifice and responsibility, there are not many things in life you can¡¯t have.¡± How right he was!
